crispy chicken meatballs
DUST YOUR AIR-FRYER OFF BECAUSE MY PALEO CHICKEN MEATBALLS ARE IN TOWN! THESE BAD BOYS ARE PALEO, WHOLE30, GLUTEN-FREE AND WAITING TO BE PAIRED WITH YOUR FAVORITE PASTA SAUCE. THANK ME LATER!
When you cook as much as I do, everyone around you has their favorite recipe that you make. Now don’t get me wrong, my family loves my baked goods but they BEG for my chicken meatballs. I think at this point my boyfriend might be a chicken meatball addict, considering i’ve made it for him in a million different ways. BBQ, Jelly, Sesame, Plain, Cheesey- you name it and these chicken meatballs have 99% of the time been made in that form.
The thing I love about a good chicken meatball is that they can be made in so many different ways, but are unmatchable in their natural state- with pasta and marinara sauce.
How do I make paleo chicken meatballs?
What I love the most about these meatballs is how simple they are to make- they require three ingredients to make. Almond flour, ground chicken and spices- and this trio is POWERFUL.
As for cooking- I always use my air fryer. I know a lot of people are starting to get sick of cleaning it and the smaller amount of food at one time that it holds but it will always be my favorite way to cook due to how much faster and crispier it makes things.
If you wanted to, you could absolutely cook these babies in the oven, just make sure to cook them a little longer and make sure they’re not too cooked- because the oven can sometimes dry out chicken a little faster than an air fryer!
