Benefits of the Powders I used:
Maca Powder: Just one serving of this superfood provides you with SO many nutrients. Some of my favorite benefits are that it increases energy, improves your mood and helps regulate hormones.
Cacao Powder: Cacao is my favorite because it contains 40 times the antioxidants of blueberries and is one of the highest plant-based sources of iron. Another great thing about cacao is that it naturally fights free radicals and is rich in magnesium, potassium and fatty acids.
Paleo Protein Powder: Before my journey with thyroid disease I was a sucker for your typical cinnamon roll or oreo flavored protein. If it tasted good and fit my macros, I was getting it. Little did I know that the stomach aches I would get after consuming this powder was due to milk filled whey protein and artificial sugars. I LOVE my paleo protein because it has no whey and only made with 5 ingredients!
Collagen: Which is the most abundant protein in our bodies. Some benefits of collagen are improved skin, bone density and heart health. I used further foods unflavored collagen!

Ingredients
1 cup coconut milk
1 packet paleo protein powder
1 tsp maca powder
1 tbsp cacao powder
1 scoop collagen
2 dates
1 tsp coconut flakes
1 frozen banana
6 ice cubes
Toppings
grain-free cookie
paleo chocolate
coconut flakes
paleo peanut butter
Directions
Blend all the ingredients above until smooth and top with your favorite toppings!
